Although a fall chill was in the air, there was nothing but warmth inside Patricia's and Howard's house to celebrate Debra's 15 year ministry with the St Francis parish! With our usual gusto and creativity, it was a fun-filled party: great food, numerous testimonials to Debra, musical performances by Jim Fredericks & Richard Weidlich, a verse written and given by Margie Irish, and various gifts / mementos presented to Debra. Afterwards, Debra retold the story how a retreat led to her ministry and her 15 year cherished association with St Francis. She ended her talk with her blessing: "Life is short and we do not have much time to gladden the hearts of those who travel with us. So, be quick to love and make haste to be kind and may the blessing of God Almighty: Father, Son and Holy Spirit be upon you and remain with you and all those you love, now and forever. Amen."

Thanks to Patricia, Howard, Betsy, Cathy and everyone else who helped to make this a memorable evening!
