How fortunate that the rain held out! There were no damp spirits during the 11th Annual Miles for a Mission Walk / Run event for Pacific House. We had a great showing of walkers, runners and canine companions. The Dogapalooza was as lively as ever with fun events for dogs and their people. Click PREP and RACE DAY to see photos.
Thanks to everyone on the MFM committee: Mark Lingle (pastor & leader), Cindy Russell & Claudia Bilotti (co-chairs), Cathy Ostuw (bibs, timing & too many things to list), Joe Bilotti (sponsor-getter extraordinaire), Dawn Randall (t-shirts), Margie Irish (food, of course!), Andrea Martinez (volunteer leader), & Linda Quinton (Dogapalooza). Also, thanks to all the additional volunteers who prepped the grounds, stuffed the t-shirts, registered 'on the day', photographed, etc, etc, etc! A special thanks to our sponsors & donors who help up surpass our goal of $30,000!!

Pacific House sent a lovely note to the committee. Here is an excerpt: "On behalf of everyone at Pacific House and the community we serve, we'd like to extend our deepest gratitude for choosing our organization as the beneficiary of the 11th Annual Miles for a Mission 5K Run/Walk held today. Your dedication to improving the lives of those experiencing homelessness in Fairfield County aligns seamlessly with our mission of preventing and ending homelessness.
We would be remiss if we didn't express a special thank-you to Mark Lingle. His role as a connector between our organizations and his ongoing dedication as a board member at Pacific House has been invaluable. Mark's unwavering commitment to our cause has been a guiding light for us, and we are grateful for his contributions. We would also like to thank all the sponsors, runners, walkers, and virtual attendees who participated in the event. . ."
